Terms of Service

(a) You participate in all events and activities at your own risk.

(b) Events and activities may involve physical exertion and carry inherent risks including adverse weather, uneven terrain, and physical injury. You must evaluate whether your current fitness and skill level allow you to participate safely.

(c) If you have any injuries or medical conditions (including pregnancy), you must inform us before participating. You must not participate if doing so could increase your risk of injury or harm.

(d) If at any time you feel unwell, dizzy, or in pain, stop immediately and seek medical attention if needed. If you notice an unsafe situation or another participant with an injury, notify us immediately.

(e) You are responsible for bringing any equipment or items you need. We are not liable for loss, damage, or theft of your belongings.

(f) Information provided during events is general in nature and does not constitute medical, legal, financial, or business advice.

(g) We may ask you to sign an additional waiver before participating in certain activities.

By making a booking, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years old.
• Understand the risks of the activities you will participate in.
• Are physically fit and able to participate safely.
• Have disclosed any medical conditions or mobility issues that may affect your participation.

We may refuse to allow you to participate in an activity if we do not believe you are fit to do so, and we may not offer a refund in such circumstances.

(a) You must comply with Jove Club rules as published on our website from time to time.

(b) You must not behave illegally, cause nuisance to Jove Club or others, or act recklessly.

(c) You are solely responsible for the safety of your belongings at events.

(d) You must not damage any equipment or property at events and agree to indemnify us against claims arising from any such damage.

(e) In respect of the website, you must not: copy or reproduce content without consent; use it for illegal or fraudulent purposes; interfere with its operation; use automated tools; attempt to breach security; or act in a way that damages Jove Club's reputation.

(a) To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jove Club is not liable for loss or damage you suffer in connection with these terms or our services, unless caused by our deliberate act or negligence. No liability arises until you give us written notice and a reasonable opportunity to rectify the issue.

(b) Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional unlawful conduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

(c) To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is excluded for indirect, special, and consequential loss (including loss of revenue, profit, or goodwill), and is otherwise limited to the total fees you have paid to us up to the date the liability arose.

(d) All implied representations and warranties not expressly stated in these terms are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify Jove Club against all losses, claims, expenses, damages, and liabilities arising from: any breach of these terms by you; any negligent, fraudulent, or criminal act or omission by you; or any event caused or contributed to by you.

(a) You agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy.

(b) Photos and video may be taken during events and activities for the purpose of promoting Jove Club across social media, our website, and other media.

(c) If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, let us know before the activity begins and we will respect your request. You can also contact us at hello@thejoveclub.com.

(a) To access most features of the website you'll need to register for an account. You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when registering.

(b) You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

(c) We may suspend or cancel accounts at our discretion, including for failure to comply with these terms.

(a) When you book an event, session, or trip with Jove Club, you become a member of Jove Club. Membership is not a separate paid subscription — it is the status you hold as someone who has booked with us.

(b) We reserve the right to reject or terminate membership at our discretion, including where conduct has damaged or risks damaging Jove Club's reputation.

(c) We may update these terms at any time by posting changes on our website and notifying you by email. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Notices must be in writing in English and delivered by email. Notice is deemed received 24 hours after sending, or when replied to — whichever is earlier.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Waiver

No waiver of any right is effective unless it is in writing and signed by the party granting it.

Severance

If any term is found to be void or unenforceable, it is severed to that extent. The remaining terms continue in full force.

Assignment

Neither party may assign or transfer rights or obligations under these terms without the prior written consent of the other.

Entire agreement

These terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior negotiations or agreements relating to the same subject matter.

In these terms: singular includes plural and vice versa; references to a person include individuals, companies, and other entities; references to a document include it as updated from time to time; “£” means British pounds sterling; headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation; “includes” is not a word of limitation.
