The Ski Briefing

Morzine, March 2027

Tuesday 10 November, 7.30pm30 minutesOnline, with Freddie

What this is

Thirty minutes on a video call, five days before the 15 November deadline. Freddie goes through the week, where we are with the chalets, what the money actually looks like, and what happens if we do not get the numbers. Then he answers whatever you want to ask.

This one is worth coming to even if you are unsure, because the trip works differently to our others. Nothing is booked yet, the price is a promise rather than a confirmed invoice, and the whole thing depends on enough people committing by the middle of November. All of that is easier to explain out loud than on a page.

Cameras off is completely fine and you do not have to say a word. Plenty of people just listen. If you cannot make the time, sign up anyway and we will send you a write-up the next day.

What we’ll cover

  • The week itself, and why it is Morzine rather than anywhere else
  • The chalet, now chosen and held, and what it is actually like
  • The money: what the £50 does, what the deposit is, and when each payment lands
  • What happens if we do not reach the numbers by 15 November
  • How good a skier you need to be, which is not very
  • Coming on your own, sharing rooms, and who else tends to come
  • Your questions, for as long as they take

The Ski Briefing

Tuesday 10 November, 7.30pm

30 minutes on a video call. Free, and no obligation to book anything.

Just so Freddie knows what to spend the time on. It does not commit you to anything, and never skied is a perfectly good answer.

Freddie will answer it on the night without saying whose it was. If you would rather not speak at all, this is the way to be heard.

Can’t make the time? Sign up anyway and we’ll send you the write-up the next day.

Freddie takes notes during the call so he can write up the answers afterwards. Nothing is recorded, nothing is shared word for word, and the write-up never names anyone.

We decide whether the trip runs on Sunday 15 November, so this call is before it rather than after.
